We have all watched the horrors unfolding in the Northern Caribbean due to the Hurricane Season. These videos and photographs do bring home just how fragile we all are!

The Team @ OTC extends its most sincere sympathy (sounds so inadequate at this time) to all our students, friends, colleagues and everyone affected on the islands of Turks and Caicos, British Virgin Islands, Antigua, Anguilla, St Kitts and Nevis. We extend our further sympathies to all other islanders who have been so brutally ravaged by this force of nature and as Hurricane Irma and the upcoming others, look set to bring further devastation elsewhere, our prayers and thoughts include the affected everywhere!

The human spirit can be resilient, caring, capable and with so many homeless, jobless and despondent, we hope that this resilience kicks in with every brick, bucket and spade used in restoring lost communities.

The Hurricane Season of 2017 will be etched in the memory for an extremely long time. We hope that the light at the end of the tunnel shines again very soon!
