A Belated Welcome to 2012

It is a belated welcome, I am afraid, to our many guests, passers by, members, students and enquirers. The start of the new year has been hectic, chaotic (thanks to the seasonal weather) but mostly happy. Many of our new students who have been putting off the inevitable thankfully, have now decided to move on and get that long awaited qualification to go with the new job. A special welcome to our new students at Trinity!

The year ahead is full of promise and after the uncertainties of last year brings a whole lot of optimism. Job vacancies within the sector are increasing and many students have been moving on to new jobs with some ease. This is a specialist arena and it was with great relish that I saw on a Jobs Board, the number of applicants for general office vacancies being in the 1000s but the number of applicants for legal jobs being less than 10. It goes to show, that specialising often works. You will be 1 in 10 and not 1 in 1000! So if you are still thinking whether this is a good move or not, go for it and see.

Hello Wendy,
It is so great to see that OTC is doing so well. I am now finishing the Conveyancing part and am going to carry on the Criminal Litigation procedures - police arrests, trial, sentencing • Civil Litigation procedures - completing civil litigation court forms • Matrimonial procedures - completing petitions etc... I am so proud to study with you! By the way, you are so right: This is a specialist arena and specialising often works. I do not love English Law...I adore it!
